Way off Topic-- Where to get MP3 files?
Wifey needs MP3 files for the new Bantam 350. I used to use Napster, but you know the deal with them. Any reccomendations?
Thanks!

Morpheus is the SHIZNIT BOY!!!!!!!
Man I use morpheus all the time. I've got a cable connection at home and I can download enough music to fill a cd in no time. It's basically a file sharing set up and the speed that you download files at definitely is affected by the guy you're getting it from. If his connection is shitty, then your download time will be. I usually only download files from people that show a high bandwidth number. I can usually download most any song in 2 to 3 minutes, and still be surfing the net. Sometimes I'll be downloading several at a time. Just go to downloads.com (I think) and download it. Give it a whirl, I've turned a bunch of my buddies on to it and we are making good use of it. I've probably got 600-700 mp3 files on my computer at home. Not all music either, got all the old Richard Pryor stuff, some George Carlin, Sam Kinison etc. You can download videos as well. Check it out, if you have a decent connection you WILL be impressed. Go here to download it.

You'll have to do a search I think.
Note that it is still on top of the Most Popular List, and 2nd in the Most Talked About List.

Hhhhmmmm....
I have WinMx and I think it pales in comparison to Morpheus. I have no experience with AudioGnome.

I would have to agree with Ninja man....Morpheus blows napster out of the water! Found everything I have been looking for so far....2000 music files and counting! I also found some great computer games and palm pilot downloads....The best part is.........it's FREE!

Morpheus and Audiogalaxy are the two best that I have found so far. If looking for movies or software I prefer Morpheus. For music I prefer audiogalaxy, I have always found what I have been looking for, even the weird shit. like the parody song "Strangers on my Flight" that one is funny as hell.

Audiogalaxy
I'll check out Audiogalaxy when I get home on the ol' cable connection. This blistering 26.4k dial up I'm on right now is tragic. But hey I'm getting paid well while I wait.

Damn that must really suck. at home I have a DSL line and at work I have two T3 trunk lines. The sad part at work is that it is firewalled all to hell and can get kinda slow during the busiest times of the day. If ya can get rid of that dial up.

I've got the hook up.....
My actual "work" computer has a T3 connection and it's plenty fast. I only connect to the internet using that computer for business purposes. Our internet usage is heavily monitored so I do my "playing" on another computer that I have in my office that isn't connected to our network. I use it to burn CDs,and chat on the boards. It's an old Tiger Pro with a 300mhz AMD processor. Can you say turd???? I thought you could, but hey it get's the job done and let's me hang out on the boards and stuff. It has served me well.
