I hear that if you are a heavier person (I for instance am over 200lbs) that the Corbin is the way to go. That said, if your a tall, skinny dude, then the Corbin you wont like. It does though keep your nads from riding up on the tank.
The other brand out there is Sargeant, but Corbin is way better IMO.

Another option you may want to consider is having the padding on your stock seat replaced with gel pad.It only cost me $100 by an upolsterer.I haven't ridden it on a long distance trip yet,but everyday riding,I like it.

I have a Corbin on my 12R and I love it.. I'm 68" and 160 lbs... Have done 200 mile rides on it with no problems.. Previous owner put it on so I have no idea what it costs.. Mr Bill

I'm 6'3" and 185, does that qualify as a tall skinny dude ? Unlike the stock one the Corbin allows you to move back on the seat which helps on longer rides. I like it.

hmmm.. odd... I clocked thousands of road trip kilometres on my 12r and I found the seat to be comfortable, verging on luxurious....

only cause you got a big old bubble ass with lots of fat to seit on fish......lol
My stock seat was good and I enjoyed it well enough. But after logging 18000 miles in it , the padding is starting to wear out and its getting very uncomfortable.....I have considered a stock replacement, and a Corbin as well....I may just send the stock seat off to Gelseats.com to have it refoamed with their gel foam and call it good....
