The 12 has made it this far...
Today finally it happened. It wasn't pretty the entire ways, and she still has a lot left in her.
I bought her with less than a mile showing in the summer of 2002, rode it the rest of that riding season. She sat with another man (Dino) all last year, and we arent even half way into this riding season...
I was a mile from home, I pulled over to the side of the rode, and took a pic just as she was...in all her glory...
20,000 miles....whooohooooo.....

wow!!!
20,000 mi and you still have a quarter of a tank of gas left!!!

lol...woo hooo Daniel, that is doing some serious riding....like you I was gone for a year, adn I have right at 18000 on my 02

Im going to pitch in on the high miles, I've got 27,500 miles on mine, and somewhere on another tread i read someone had original clutches on his bike up to 45k? , I've got original clutches on mine but Im getting the muzzy clutch kit to upgrade my clutch system. Just thought I could put in my info, I guess i dont wear my clutches cause my bike doesnt even feel im riding it, I only weight 150 lbs and stand at 5.7.

And I thought I was doing alright with mine being just over 15,000 but then I remembered, I'm in Km.

lol@pdb....I am over 18000 on mine and I was gone for a year, adn its been in the shop tore aprt for the past few months...mine is an 02 model......

Had sugery last summer, in Apr. Rode it abit before then but then the Dr said I couldn't ride until June. Mine's an 02 as well.

Yeah but bigger numbers sound better, i.e., "how fast have you had your bike up to?". "About 280 and still accelerating!" instead of whatever that converts to in MPH.
