Oddly enough the 10R ECU is $1100 and the cable for it is another $400 - wonder if has the same/similair capabilities?

Depends. If your gear postion sensor has a 0v-5v output then you could hook it to it and calibrate it to enabled and disable the outputs based on gears. Doubt it however.

I'd prolly buy it - then mess up the installation . I wonder how much it would cost though? Computers can be pricey...
