WARNING!! APE- HP Valve Springs
I just got a call from Randall because APE Just called him. By Mistake, APE sent the wrong springs to some ZX12R Owners. The way you can tell if they are the wrong springs is first to look at them.
If they are straight wound, they are wrong because they should be progressive!
If you measure the height and they are 1.5 inches, they are wrong!
The correct springs must be 1.75 inches free standing and progressive wound!

Just something else that was trying to bite me at Maxton! I measured mine and they were OK. I am willing to bet if I had gotten it together that they would have been the wrong springs. With the Springs, I just ran out of things to go wrong for the basic assembly of the engine.
I like the fact that APE called everybody before the fact! That is almost un-American! What? No Cover up? Hiding behind Ignorance? OK for APE

I give them one thumbs up, adn they will get anotyher when they get the right springs to all the right people.....but they took a big first step, bravo to them...
