I'm sure Kawi is really going to respond to the idiots signing that petition. Maybe if they all signed it respectfully requesting help they might get some response, but to read that drivel on there I was embarrassed.

Otis,

Why do you think that? Not a challenge to your opinion but just curious to see what you think.

I don't think a petition is rediculous, not at all. IN fact it's a great idea, what disturbs me is the childish, idiot things people wrote on the petition.
Here is just an example of what some fella wrote:

**I bought my ZX12R last year as a leftover. And have invested 3K in accessories. If my clutch goes and I'm injured, I'll be on you like the TERMINATOR**

What an idiot. I'm sure that is going to scare Kawi into helping him

If people want to protest or request something from someone, it needs to be done in a professional way, not a childish way with whining and childish threats.

I agree madmike, Red changed the plates for me at DGVI and the ones he took out looked fine after 20,000 miles and I'm not easy on it.

yeah.......

Yeah Otis, it tends to piss a few folks off from time to time. I actually get Big Mike with it more than anyone. He'll be ranting on about someone pissing him off waiting for my .02 on the deal, and more or less expecting me to side with him. Then I say " ????'s gonna kick your ass " as serious and dry as I possibly can. LMFAO!!! Nobody is safe from it, NOBODY!!!! Got my mom with it at Easter. She was like, what'd you just say???? When I repeated myself she just laughed and said I was crazy. Yep, she's right. LOL

Now,....on to this topic of clutches. Even though I installed the Muzzy clutch kit when Lil' Red had a few thousand miles on her, I had no issues with the stock clutch. I more or less did it for insurance because I do ride a lot of clutch wheelies, and I will occassionally go to the strip on test and tune night just for fun. I know several people that have stock clutches with several miles on them. Some of the yahoos on that petition that have went through multiple clutches in a few thousand miles have almost got to be abusing them, either that or they need to learn how to ride. Harsh assessment, nah,.....just cold hard reality.

You are easy on your cluth otis. Dragracing is what is really tough on them. Especially hotlapping (not what bart does to your anus)!
