Urgent: ZX10R Steering Damper Needed ASAP
I'm trying to get to the ECTA event this weekend but need a ZX-10R steering damper to pass tech. Does anyone know of a shop that has a damper for the 10R in-stock? Maxton is this weekend I would need to overnight it today!

hey Bergie I saw a damper on Muzzys website for the 10, not sure if its in stock or not though

i just tried to call them, they arent open yet...the part # is 0022-00027

ok....I had a guy at the track the other day had a Scotts on his 10, but i dont know where he got it....I bet if he called a few places like Kneedraggers.com, or parts 411 he may find someone that has one.....

My sponsoring dealer is checking Parts Unlimited for the Scotts as a last resort. Initially I thought the Scotts required drilling like on the 12R but apparently the 10R version does not, so I could use that model if necessary.
I've got to get this sorted and delivered by Friday if I'm going to run at the event. I'm going there anyway on Sunday to pickup the Dymag carbon wheels from Don, but I would like to take this 10R down and run it if possible.

My buddy just got a Scotts for his 10 last week from Hardracing.com. He had it shipped to him in two days.

Bergie I tried to call Hardracing to see if they had one in stock, but it was too late, and they were closed up , sorry dude.....try them first thing in the monring, if they have one and over night it you will get it on friday.....

Berg... at worst if you can locate a mounting kit... Im sure someone would loan your their damper part.
