Dang clutch switch AGAIN!!
What is up with the clutch switch on these 12's...sheeesh mine went out again. So far, it has been replaced four times under warranty, and this is the fifth one to go out.
It doesnt affect riding the bike, other than I can no longer start it in gear with the clutch engaged, but rather I have to have it in neutral in order to start it up.
Is anyone else having this problem as many times as I have been? Can a recall fix this dumb problem?

i had the brake switch act up the other day, but a little shaking and a day spent inside seems to have cured it.

Open the switch and clean it with WD40 and use something to push the contactors to have a better contact. I used a pin and a hammer to make the contact stronger. Worked like a charm....

if its up on a rear stand...and you try to start it in gear...does the rear tire spin like the clutch is still engaged?
If so...sounds like your stack height is too tall.

The clutch switch dosen't know anything about the stack height - it only acts according to the clutch lever - regardless if You even have a clutch...

ever since I put in the Muzzys clutch/basket mine has been "crunching" really loud when I put it in first.
"CRUNCH!" Gawd this just doesn't sound right....?
Seems to work beautifully tho once rolling....(2nd gear wheelies much easier with the newfound "bite" of the clutch.) Haven't tried it at the drags yet...soon hopefully...
