'00 green...
...you know, the faster ones 
Any of you ever get comments about the green paint on your bike ?
I got mine in really good shape, so I try to keep it that way. Zaino is my friend. Anyhoo, almost everywhere I go I either get compliments on the color, or they ask who painted the bike. "Beautiful bike, I LOVE that color, who painted it".
Anyone else gotten this stuff before ?

Actually, the week after I bought my faster silver '01, I peeled off all of the stickers. Everyone kept asking me who did my custom paint.

Yeah, I'm not much on the Kawasucky green, but I'm really liking the 00 starburst green. Not that flat green bullshit that they did for 03. Bullshit. Not right.
But for some reason the 10R looks good in green. The 12 does not. Whatever.
I'm rather partial to the smurf green that Dave In Daytona has. Wish I had that instead of the midnight blue of 02.

Me too JonnyWrong.... but the dealer I purchased my bike from had different plans.
I ended up with the "rare" red, which many "non-Kawasaki" enthusiasts often mistake for a Ducati.

I get comments all the time too. You are right. A lot of people think that it is custom. I love the 2000 metalic green and I even like the pastel "dirt bike" green too. I tell people that are sceptical... you must imbrace the green! LOL My biggest complaint about the faster color green is that it is much harder to buy matching gear. If you go to an accessory shop you see shit loads of red, blue, and faggot assed yellow, but no green? What is wrong with these people?

I will say, the garbage man pulled up one Tuesday morning while I was in the garage cleaning some things out and said, hey man, love the color on THAT bike... pointing at the silver 12R I had in my garage at the time

The stickers came off easy cuz they didn't want to be stuck to that pukey silver color any longer.

Mine is green underneath the silver. Does that make it even faster?
I like that safety orange on the 10. That is only thing I like about the 10 so far. Saftey orange on at least half for the next paint job.

Smurf Green/Candy Thunder Blue are the same, I'll have to remember that.
I can't count the number of compliments I get on that color. Happened again less than 30 minutes ago.

Mon frigging working. No shit, aside from the last 2 weeks I had not taken a day off for the six months previous. Although that seems extreme, I will get shitloads off during the summer when I really want them. Now I am just trying to catch up with all the things that didn't get done in the previous months. Although I did find time to put on a set of Michelin H2s and get out the last 2 Sundays. Them are some real tires! And also ordered a new car to to reward myself.
