isnt riding on the track wonderful Jon....now worries at all....just twist and lean.....aint life grand.....
I just ordered a 190/55 SC2 for the back of the 12 for the gap trip.....heheheh, and some stainless brake lines with EBC HH+ pads front and rear. And a Scotts sterring damper for the 6RR and some EBC HH+ pads for it. Now to take the bike panels to Nashville to Brett to be painted, and I might yet have the 12 there for the gap......woo hoooo
Oh yeah and the Kennedy adjustable dogbones for the 12....aught to get it turning in nicely this year....

JEEZ HDL - you scare me with your suspension knowledge . All I know is how to point and shoot . I bet I'm suffering crappy ass suspension settings and I don't even know it!

Maybe, but once you figure it out, it's the shiznit.
Wanna figure it out?
FIRST set your static sag (Sport Rider article on that that's great).
Then do ONE setting at a time test them on a section of favorite road. All the way hard, then all the way soft. Do for each setting front and rear.
You'll learn real quick what works and what doesn't.

that is how we usually do it Jon, trial and error. Last time I had the luck of having a AMA suspension tuner do my set up for me, then he stayed at the track and when iw would come in off the track and tell him what its doing he would make adjustments.....then i went and changed tires size on the back and fuked it all up, so I will have it set up again when I get to GA at the shop, and try it again, so I will be tweaking the rear at the Gap.

190/55 is my choice but like said above hard to find and not cheap.
I know 12 riders that only run the 180/55 and will not run anything else.
I am a firm believer in sticky tires. I have no concern on how long they last, Just that they stick.
Comes down to what makes you comfortable. Your the one making the inputs and computing the inputs from feedback.
