Mike, I know you did not mean to say that "Sound" is more important than HP and that you did not get performance?

I dont know who is feeding you that line of bullshit.... but I can guarantee you'll need some type of fuel control device with ANY pipe..even stock
On Akras you lose some 3-6hp up top because they run so lean at WFO.

Hey Maxxer thanks for the tech info. I will get my welder to build me one, But you never know, there might be a market for them. Hell people bought rocks and called it a pet, not to mention "Canned darkness", lol.

Yeah, what he said....
quote: Muzzys. Buy the quiet baffle if you're worried about the noise, but to me there is no noise issue if you have a properly packed pipe.
Yup - quite happy with my quiet baffle - just don't do it with the carbon can.
The Muzzy had a stumble at low RPM - was fine above that. So it was kinda snatchy taking off (city driving was interesting) but the rest of it was tits!
I didn't have a custom map made, but prolly could have sneaked a few more HP if I did. But I could certainly tell with my butt dyno.

Yeah, it just take a good map to take it away, but they were talking about not being able to afford a PC. So, if you get a Muzzy that's what you'll be dealing with.
Not sure about the other pipes.

On Bergie's bike, without a PC, not 2K stumble and made 180 HP. I will admit that this is not usual or normal, but the Hindle pipe "Was" made for a Stock bike as opposed to the Brock Davidson pipe.

I hope the Hindles for the 12R are better than the one that came on our race R6.
It leakes everywhere, rattles, doesn't have the spring joints (to hold the pipes together like the Graves) and has more Silicone holding it together than Pamela Lee Anderson.

None I know of leak or rattle and the joints are virgin tight. Also, the Step tube pipe may be equal or better than the Muzzy pipe, but the "Standard" Hindle pipe is not the equal of a standard Muzzy Pipe. Until he made this pipe, he only was ahead of the field on weight in a stainless pipe.

Then I'd guess the standard is what we have because the can just fits onto the S pipe.

Actually, he only nakes the Step for the Busa and the ZX12, all of the others are "Standard Pipes". Meaning that the header tubing is all one size. They have gone from a Ma & Pops to the equivelent of the Canadian Muzzys. All of the Canadian Race teams usetheir pipes and support money is given just like Muzzy did/ does.

I have the Step Hindle Ti cann and like it, I have had no problems, I've had it on for almost a year, Quailty looks as good as Muzzys,
If I had a Muzzy, I would not pull off a good pipe just to put another similar pipe on. But thats me. That low rpm Muzzy idle I also like, Its character.

Remember, the Pro- Pipe is just that. Made for Pro-Racing where you use higher RPMS that we do not use on the streets. Remember also that Muzzy make everything he uses available to the public just so no one can say it is because of this or that!
