Poll Question:
Does your 12 make more than 170 HP?

Well, kids. Poll time.

Let's do the numbers, as they say on National Pubic Radio:

(and, ah, that's not a typo)

Poll Results:
 23 votes (47%)
Mine makes 180 HP or more at the wheel

 23 votes (47%)
Mine makes between 170 and 179

 3 votes (6%)
I have a crappy Canadian model that makes less than 170 HP

Only 160hp on a DJ250 with mine. By comparison, it made 159.8 on AMI's world famous stingy dyno. (only 3 hp less than a 1270)

Top chart: DJ150 - Stock vs. Pipe & Filters (no PCIII)
Bottom chart: DJ250 - DGI event - Pipe, Filters, Y2K timing mod & PCIII vs DGVI event after remap

All runs are SAE and Corrected

172~175 on mine (most runs done on DJ-250 or DJ-150). All I have are:

Muzzy full exhaust
PC-IIIr
K&N filters
El Cheapo kleen air mod (removal)

I haven't actually got a custom map yet - I'm curious if a custom map will yield any more power. Maybe this summer... if I can find anyone in north jersey that I trust to do it!

The 1270 kit is a waste of money! Not gaining much. Get the 1361 kit or come over to the"Dark Side" and buy a Busa and turbo it

Hopefully, by the time this motor is used up they'll have the turbo for the 12 perfected, or there is always the 1361/1427.
