I Just Met ZX12-Girl & Kzz1
They found their way to where I work and we took the $.25 tour of Washington DC. Only one problem was we stopped on 15th street next to the US Treasury to secure a bike and Ken decided to get a "T" Shirt. (We are in a PU Truck with Michigan tags, Dark windows and a trailer) si in a minute, the Secret Service Uniformed walks up and I show him my ID and tell him that the driver went to get a "T" Shirt. He states than we need to leave in 20 seconds. Angie calls Ken and by then Ken is coming back to the truck and we have a Bicycle Policeman and a few others there before we leave. Do not stop long near a government building in DC because you will have an escort. 
Had a quick trip around the town and they are now on their way to Hotel. They really were good to be with and Peggy and I plan to see them later for Dinner!

Oh Man........If I would have known that, we would have stopped. We went by your office about 3 times today while making blocks around the city!!!

Hey......if they had come here...I woulda given em the .05 cent tour as I cant afford the other .20 to .45 cents.

Santa Anna, you could take them to the Ghetto where the last 3 White families live Go to a McDonalds where English is still spoken? My Aunt lives there and it is different than it was just 10 years ago, let alone 25 years ago. Of course you could take them around where you work  (Remember, a Ghetto is any place where one ethnic group is prevelant )
In all seriousness, since they were driving, I reduced the price by 50%.

Well, we didn't have much luck at the track. We did not have an opportunity to run the bikes before we made this trip.....so, we had a few issues.
The ZX12R was dead (burned the clutch out 2 passes into it). The Busa had some issue were it would just shut down at about 120-130 mph. So, I made some 1/8th mile passes and we kept trouble shooting the bike.
Next time, we will make sure to get some track time before we make the trip....
I did get to met RAC41T (really nice guy) and hang out with crotchrocket (always a pleasure). RAC took some pic's and should post them later.

Reverse Wow, what is that "Mom"? I have never had it that bad, usually I have everything ready and perfect for me to have problems. Usually I am working on everything until the last minute and then no problems!
Think of it this way, People do everything you just did, only to see Washington. You did that and got to see a few unseen friends and try out a drag strip!

Oh! I had a good time anyway. It was great to meet everybody. Jason was really cool and the track was awesome.
The busa engine cut off at the 1/8th mile so I was coasting the last 1/8th of the track. Nothing like running high 9's at a little over 100mph. LOL
Can't say that I would have made the trip just to see Washington.... Nope, has to be a track in the area for me to visit!!!!

Angi, It was nice seeing you and Ken again!!!...To bad your bikes werent cooperating...Hope to see you both at MIR next month, so that you can make up for this time...
I counted my time slips and made 30 passes, and that was with video taping, hour break for lunch and 15 minute cool downs between 2-3 back to back runs...I tried to get in the 9.40s but just couldnt get it this time, next time definately...

I am still amazed by your times...Foot shifting a stock bike. We are talking about the May 14th trip....I'll let you know if we are coming back!!!
