Pics from weekend. Got stuff done on the bike
First thing I did was the clean air removal, there is an ok amount of room in there once you get all the crap out of the way. Did a valve check, removed the forks and shocks and sent them down to Knoxville to Lucky's friend for refurbishing. Got the TPS set back to stock, put in new brake pads and got the new tires mounted and balanced, also installed new spark plugs and cleaned the air filters. Also spent some time cleaning the bike so I wouldn't have to listen to Lucky bitching about it anymore.  The forks and shock should be back top me by the end of the week and the PCIII should be here any day. Looking forward to riding the "new" bike.
I did take the rear shock out by removing the large bolt from under the seat, much easier than trying to get the top shock bolt off.
Ah, new set of M1's, nothing nike a new set of skins.
Front end looking kind of bare. I love the pit bull with the front adapter, was simple to use.
Bare back end too. I ended up sinking large eye screws into the ceiling joists and hanging the rear end then put my floor jack right under the oil pan and just raised it enough to touch, just a little reassurance.

A big thanks to Ninjaman and Roger who were available to me by phone to answer a few questions I had along the way. And thanks to Wilson, he was unable to make it over to help with the valve check, but's that's ok cause it forced me to do it myself and it wasn't that bad, but I went to his new shop for tire mounting and balancing.

You don't have to thank me Chris, glad I could help. Actually out of all our calls this weekend you actually helped me out. If you hadn't given me the "wake up" call yesterday morning  I'd have probably slept the entire day away.
As I said yesterday, "Good job with the bike"!!! I'm proud of you for finally gettin' off yer ass and doing some maintenance.  LMFAO!!! I hope to get my rear shock from John this week sometime. All I like is installing the shock and fitting some flushmounts. Then Lil' Red will be ready for a shakedown run or two before slipping on a set of new Supercorsas.

Looks almost same what I did last couple of weeks expect valve clearances which were done earlier. Rear shock was reassebled, new gear change dogs, new oil, filter, coolant and new oils and seals to front forks. Also changed one rear suspension link bearing because I had to but new threads and a new grease nipple to the link, because one was broken. Now it only waits for new brake fluids and the summer to really arrive, after that I can start riding!!! By the way the oil pan holds quite a much oil after it has been drained? This was a little surprise, but luckily I din't spill much...
