cheap Polish Busa
Well here is another one of those deals just to good to be true, Even for Bus.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2471294649&category=50030
I Emailed the dude just for the hell of it, Never expecting a reply but got a couple.
1.Hello,
The listing was restricted for bidding as I had lots of
problems in the past two months with non paying bidders. Please
understand that I will not let anyone ruin my auction.I bought this bike from US and it was rided only within US . It was
registrated in US and I had all the services done there. The bike was
never crushed, droped or raced. I took care of it like it was my own baby
and now is in the same condition as it was when I bought it - even
better!. Have 5500 miles.
The thing is that almost 5 months ago, I made that step - I got married
!!! My wife is from Poland and we decided to move there. My kid was
born a week ago here in Poland and, as a fresh daddy I can't find the time
to ride the bike anymore. Yes, I brought the bike here in Poland . I
wanted to register the bike here, but when I found out how much paper
work I must do to register it here, only to rided once a month or less ...
simply I gave up and decided to sell it and buy a car here (a family
weagon is a must now). I had made this decision to sell the bike faster
only for $3800 US,shipping included. I even decided to support all the
shipping charges in order to make a smooth deal for this bike. I will
use FedEx International Freight for shipping, so you will be able to
receive it in 3-4 working days (depending on your exact location). The bike
will be crated, will have an insurance and will be delivered at your
door without you beeing charged one penny more. As soon as I have your
firm decision that you want to buy, I will take the bike to FedEx and pay
all the taxes for the shipping including the insurance and the custom
fees. Along with the bike, I will send you all the documents that I have
for the bike - the title (wich is issued in US, is clear of any leins
and I have it in hand) and all the recipts from services.
As a payment method I prefer money wire transfer made through
WesternUnion. All you have to do now is go to the nearest Western Union office
with cash and wire the money to me. For that you only need a valid ID and
with my location, the transfer will be complete. Immediatly after I
have the payment confirmation from you, I'll send the bike and email you
the tracking number from FedEX. In order to complete our deal, I'll need
your address to prepare the package for shipping.
This is my location where you'll wire the money:
Adrress:WROCLAWSKA 13
city:WARSAW zip :26630
country:Poland
I'm really sorry but I have some problems with the phone. For some
reasons when I receive a call, the fax machine is conecting in the same
time. I've talked with the phone company and only Wendsday morning they can send someone to fix the problem....
We must comunicate by emails if is not a problem
Mail me asap.
So I sent him a reply offering to pay 4000( I am generous) if we can use an escrow account contengent on me receiving, and inspecting the bike and paperwork. I told him if this is a legit deal there should be no problem.
Got to luv this world, waiting on a polish dog.

Polish Dog replied again, This guy was Balls. Messege reads:
Escrow.com is the worst service in the world. I mean i myself have used
it 7 times and 6 out of 7 times it has worked o.k. But on the sevent
time i got so scamed.
The winning bidder said lets use escrow. So i said o.k being that i used
the service in the past it was o.k. He paid i sent out my card, and two
day later escrow says that the buyer doesnt like the product and is
returning it. So i said fine and gave him negative feed back. Guess
what he sent me an empty card holder with some other card to match
weight.
I told escrow.com about this and they said they will investigate.
They held is money for 3 months, and guess what. They couldn't come to
a conclusion so they returned his money, and gave me a sorry buddy
basically! Since then I have only accepted wire transfers using this
secure method. Why this procedure? Because :
1. Western Union is a global leader in money transfer and message
services, with a history of pioneering service dating back more than
150 years and it continues today to help consumers and businesses
securely transfer money or make payments using money orders.
Consumers can quickly and easily transfer money to more
than 150,000 Western Union Agent locations in over 190 countries
worldwide - the largest network of its kind.
2. The money will be deposited at Western Union on the name you chose
and can NOT be retrieved (except by you) until you change the receiver
name into my name
3. This way I can have the guarantee that you have the money and that
you are ready to buy the bike.
Let me know ASAP if we can deal.I'll wait your email as I have the item available for immediate shipping.
Kindest Regards.
Yep i will just send my money and Hope for the Best, Give me a break!

imprisoned. You have my word and good faith on the fact that I'll keep
my end of the bargain. I have never lied and cheated anyone. I will not
risk my career, my freedom and my future for anything in the world!

If you decide not to go through with it there is no problem. I got quite
a few offers left. Please get back to me and let me know what you

I saw a similar ad on Cycle Trader. 2003 Busa with 800 miles for $2,700 and the location was listed as Coral Gables, Florida. Just for the fun of it I sent a note and got this reply:
Hy there,
I am very glad that you are interested in my bike.
The bike is here with me. I am from Athens, Greece.
I have a connections that works at the main ATV's factorys and they can suply me from now on with this kind of vehicles at very low prices.
That is why my offert is extraordinary.
The price for this is us$2700.
It is in best condition , having 7(seven) miles and is BRAND NEW.
It has a 3 years EXTENDED,INTERNATIONAL and TRANSFERABLE warranty and will be honored at any dealer in your country.
It is made for USA. It has US specs on it.
I have all papers from the vehicls and I will ship it along with recipt in your name with the price and the keys.
It has a TITLE that you will receive this too.
I want to sell these ASAP and then buy another 3 - 4 bikes and make some
money by selling them online.
Then I intend to rent a building and make myself a deal because i have seen that this kind of machines are selling realy good on eBay and maybe i would find buyers here in Europe too.
I will pay the shipping.
So, I heared of Cycletrader, and I thought I should give it a try.
Before I have had listed it on eBay i was dealing with other stuff and i have used FedEx for over 5 years now and being an old customer there I get all sorts of discounts.
I have found out that the have a service for delivering these machines in a crate.
They have the best conditions for the delivery.
So I will pay the shipping and all fees.
It is insured in case of damage and it take 3 days to be delivered at your DOOR.
If you want to know more or if you are interested in a purchase please feel free to email me.
Thanks
After doing an IP trace of the computer he used to send me the email and finding it was in NY, I sent him an email and asked him for the VIN. Here's that reply:
Hello there,
I have a reques, please don't asck me copies of the titles and VIN#'s. I will have to get the titles from my bank because me and my wife, we have considered that the titles of the vehicles are important papers and put it in the seif.
Please let me know if you are interested to close a deal whit me in 24 hours and if you agree I will send to you all the details for payment and delivery.
I do not want you to give you this info because a friend of mine had many problems after he gave this info to another member. He gave to that man the VIN # and copy of the title and ...no emails from that man.
After 2 weeks people called him to ask him about the item. That man did some fraud listings and to let bidders think that he is serious he gave them the VIN and scanned copys with the Tiltle .People called my friend and found out that that auction was not real. One day the police come to my friend because a man was ripped by that person via PayPal.
I hope you will understand me.
Thanks
I was blinded by all the red flags waving on this deal. But I do wonder how many people send the money.

I went through this with a cycletrader ad that showed a busa in Ohio. Called the phone number, -disconnected.
Emailed the yahoo email address.
Got a reply from the guy claiming to be in italy who also had a r6 for sale.
I offered him $2400 for both bikes.
He accepted $1200 for the '02 busa perfect condition. HEHE
-and told me to use western union and put a codeword, but dont tell him until I get the bike...
He said he would trust me, to tell him the codeword to pickup the western union money.
I was carrying on just for fun with my friends to see where this would go.
I called Western Union, and they said they dont do code words. They said, if the guy is friends with the Western Union desk clerk on the other end, they split the money and no one knows any different.
LOL.
These scams are so stupid.
