Average full Muzzy gains? I'm getting a full Muzzy(round stainless)exhaust next week and was just wondering what the average gains(Hp and torque) from stock have been made with just the exhaust, before and after (PCIII)tuning. Max torque and max hp? Did the peak tq and hp move up the rpm range any? Did the power just drop off after it's peak or did it hold it's own to redline or even limiter? Sorry so many questions, I'm excited about any power gains and can't wait to get rid of that Pumpkin Launcher, sounds like a sewing machine at full stitch.

I went from 153.2 to 166.7 with my muzzy pipe. No custom map or anything...
Stock power falls had after 10,00 rpm or so. The muzzy pipe peaks higher and holds that power peak a lot longer. It just kind of plateaus out until redline. So while the peak power advantage maybe around 13-14 horsepower or so, the power advantage at redline can be 20 horsepower or even more.

I'm around 175 HP with the muzzy. That is also with kleen air removed, a PC-IIIr with someone elses map (not custom) and K&N filters. I have no clue what the stock HP was. I think there are some guys in here that got up around 180HP with a similar setup... WHOA. The gains in HP And Torque can be amazing - get a powercommander and a custom map and you'll be happy.

stock 02 on a dj150
154.3 Hp- 91 ft lbs torque
Muzzy pipe, K&N filters, PCIII, 4.5 Degree ignition advance, custom map made my Stock, Mild to Wild in Jax FL.....I dont know what kind of dyno they have at SMW....
180.1 hp - 97.3 ft lbs of torque
Just shy of 26 Hp increase, and 6.3 ft lb increase....
Then I dropped to a 190 rear tire, adn dropped one tooth in the front....its a hoot to ride.....lol

Wow! But remember, the dyno you tested on makes a huge difference in relative numbers. If it was a DJ250, they consistently read higher from everything I've seen. If it was done on a comparible DJ150, thatz an almost unbelieveable gain.

Phukit, i posted some charts for you as well at the other web-site.
I wish I had one for you that showed my stock dyno chart, but I don't. I posted charts for the Muzzy compared to another stock, and the Muzzy on my bike.
The stock HP for my bike was 156hp. went to 172 with both the HMF and Muzzy oval.

I dont know Kerry...kcadby could tell you what kind of Dyno they have, he is the one that mapped it....now I am curious....

now if I could get her to handle I would be really happy, after riding my RR the 12 feels like I am turning a bus, or a busa....bought the same.....lol
I am going to raise the rear ride heigth a bit and see if that helps. I went to a 190 on the rear, so the back sits lower than it use to, not that much, but it dont take much to make a difference....
