R-Cal should be fine. I personally have not heard anything negative about them. I believe they actually do/did all White Brothers cylinder head work (they farmed it all out).

North County Hyper Sports in Oceanside - talk to Glenn 760)722-8863.
I drive 40 miles each way and know several people who have had their Busas and 12's tuned there.
I haven't found ANY place in OC that treats me as well and does what they say.

If you want to drive to Van Nuys, you can go to Hypercycle. I'm friends with the owner (Carry Andrews). He use to be a racer, and has been building and servicing racebikes & sportbikes forever. He's a really good tuner/builder.

Hey Rubber pants, i am a little concerned after speaking again with Glen at north county. I asked him about installing a clutch and the oiling problem. He told me had never heard of the problem. Now i am no expert about bike stuff, but that situation seems to be a well known issue with the 12r. You still highy recommend this shop? Dont get me wrong he was very helpful on many things, just making sure he knows 12's

The only experience I have with him is the tuning of our 02 12s . We installed all the parts like pipes powercommander clutch etc but he definatley was very helpful and tuned them to dyno out at 179hp all 3 were within 2 hp and of course they go like hell! The only thing is there is a slight blip right off the idle which is no biggie! He really specializes in sport bikes like the Gixxers amd R1's etc. Otherwise they were really just nice people to work with which is different for a High Perf bike shop.
