CARBON WHEELS/TANK

Are they safe enouhg?
are they allmost too light?
Does anybody have pictures from a bike
with carbon wheels and possibly with a carbon tank?
Does someone have a list how to get to most
lightweighted ZX-12 and how much did you get off?

Seriously yours,
Tapani

carbon items

Yes, the wheels are very safe. I have about 4K miles on full carbons on my 220 hp busa. It depends on the quality of the tank on how durable they are. I don't see the tank with standing a crash but I have seen them fall over without a problem. Email me if you are looking for carbon parts.

I have a set of Dymag Carbon-magnesium wheels. Have been using them for over a year. When I got them originally the front was loosing air and had to go back to England. Did not take all that long to have it back.

The wheels came from Superbike racing in GA. They were very nice to deal with. They are supposed to have spares to cut down on the wait.

I like the wheels, they do make a big difference in handling and acceleration. Big weight savings at the place you really need it. Will try to find a pic and post later.

They won't be out until March. Andrew doesn't have a price on them yet. Hopefully they will be the same as the 3 spoke and then drop the 3 spoke price.
