I can tell you the D218 works great in bad weather. Really stable tire, literally sucks the water up off the road, no squirming over rain grooves like the old D207s

I was on Bridgstones website earlier, adn can find nothing on the new BT002's? I see them advertised in the magazines, but cant find them on line. What gives?
Same thing with Dunlop's new D218, I would like to read up on it a bit bcut its not listed on their website either.....
I agree Castor I didnt like the Pilot Sports on my 12 either....but I will tell ya I love the Metzler M-1's, and they are cheap, I am still running the same set I put on before DGVI....Will say that they dont have many miles left on them...

I am having really good luck with the Metzlers right now Marcos, I like them so much I just bought another set to put on when this on is toasted....its got about 3800 miles on it now, so I will get 4000 out of it....but only 2 trips to the mountains onthis set...and only a few laps on the track

quote:I love the HPX, I tried them on the track and are very good. Of course I live in a very hot place.
Now I will try the ST46 Avons for long trips.
Me too like the HPX put stay away of Avons - if You still can. Have them on just now but will never even consider them after they're toast... In the dry they're OK, but quite slow to turn and the front grip/feel isin't very good. Had to lower the tire pressure to ride with them. But in the wet they're plain dangerous! Absolutely bad. If You give almost zero throttle in a turn the rear end will slip, and sometimes I've also have wheelspin in the straight!!! Stay a way from them. They DO give plenty of mileage though - and even more time because You won't be riding in the wet...

Well the rear grip really isin't good but You can live it... But everytime I was in wet it was the thing that I was afraid of. And with other tires the grip wasn't a problem if You're easy with the trothle. But the Avon - You don't konw whats happening.
