Is there anyone out there in or around the Louisville KY area with 12's. I saw 2 today a Red 01 and a green 01. I didnt get a chance to holler at the guys riding them, so I am giving a shout out on here......

I don't know how many are out there now, but me and the boys are riding out for the Kentucky Derby. We'll be coming from Maryland. That's at least two more 12's in the area. Where are you, We'll pick you up on the way out!

I will be up there for derby fest too Blu, we will have to hook up and go to hooters.
I konw there were a few bikes here, I saw them yesterday, just wondering if they use this board or not....

Dark Lord we definetly have to hook up. I loooove to Hoot!!
Supra the actual Derby (Horse Race) festival happens the first weekend in May. There are festivals throughout the week leading up to it. I know there is at least one bike rally. I've never been but my friends (who are from kentucky) say it's the place to be. So we're packing up the bikes and going to take the 605 mile sprint.
I've never done that straight through on a bike. I'm guessing 7 to 7 1/2 hours. Comments from anyone on my guestimate?

I would say tha tis a pretty close guess on the time....its about the same distance for me to go to my paretns house in Michigan form here, and it takes me about 7.5 hours pulling my trailer....8.5 in a blizzard...lol
Yeah Derby week in Louiville or Thunder over Louisville as its called by some, is a big deal, parties, and all kinds of happenings around town. I know that up on 11th street they will be street racing and all kind of stuff happenieng. I iwll sit back and watch. I will only be up there on the weekend, I may cruise up one night after work for a bit, depending on what is going on up there tha night.....will holler at you more as I get more info.
Supra...just think really big party, with horse racing thrown in, tha tis derby week. And they have one of the largest fireworks displays in the US there for the derby, itwas wild the year I saw it, and lasted for what seemed like forever....

Well I got my Heli-bars in. Next is the Corbin seat, a tube of Hemorhoid cream and I'm set!!! I need to go watch that drag racing too!

I tell you...we should make that one of the ZX-12 rallys. They have the Black Mountains trip and Deal Gap...why not the Derby?! IT's going to be great coming through the mountains of West Va.!!!
