Thanks.....
Yeah fearless you're right, it does have the kickstart as well. I do feel as if I made a good choice. What few minutes of seat time I've put on it were a blast. I can't wait to do some real riding on the thing. Plus I gotta order some gear next week. Street riding has taught me the importance of gear. I've got a old Joe Rocker Textile Jacket that I'm gonna wear for now coupled with my S/MX boots, freakin' old street helmet and speedway gloves.
It's all good..........

Jim,
Me quit riddin'? Fuck that noise, I live to ride bro. You're right, I'll take care of them.
necro,
I'll just have to paint the Yamaha Green. That bike is a hoot, and the little mods I've done so far have really brought the beast to life. I have forgotten just how fun a dirtbike can be.

Tommy Hayden basically did that. He was ridding AMA Dirt Track nationals on a YZ with black plastic. A contracted Kaw rider!!!! Naughty, naughty....

Tons o' FUN!!!!
I've finished all the mandatory freebie mods on the 450. All I can say is WOW!!!!! This thing will suprise you!!!! Did the throttlestop mod today. Now instead of it going maybe 55% WOT, it is now going 100% WOT. Did the timing advance mod as well. It lofts the front wheel in third gear now with such ease. I know it will only continue to run better while it's getting broke in. Of course with the way I'm babyin' the thing that'll take a long time.
Here the little jewel is:

Here is the wife's lil' TTR125LE:

Suh-WEEET!
Hmmm....that 125 makes a great pit bike!
Baby it for break-in? Hmmm...not sure I believe that. "Lofts easily in third gear" I guess "baby it" is relative, eh?
