You gotta love wireless and free internet
Haha right now at this very moment I am sitting in my truck with my laptop running Linux outside in the parking lot of a coffee shop.
I am running this program on my laptop for Linux called AirSnarf which is a rogue wireless sniffer allowing me to jump online using someone else's paid wireless connection. Thats the only realworld use for me is free internet, aside from who cares if their password I wonder will work on their other accounts.
Kinda stuffy though on a laptop inside the truck. See how long the battery goes for...

Some McDonalds and BW3's have free wireless here.
It still feels more "cool" to do it on the sly like you're doing!

Are the airports free?
All the places I see offering wireless access like Starbucks and Borders are paid services, thank goodness for sniffers and people's incredibly dumb passwords...sheesh.

Yes..because ma and pa jones who fork over 50 bucks for a wireless router and card at best buy should be educated on encryption and network security.
Id bet Tax Attorneys find it equally amazing that so many people screw up on their income taxes every year....etc.

The worst one I see even here in a college town, is so many wireless routers still have the default admin password so you can access nearly every brand router out there.
Best passwords should be alphanumeric.

The WiMax 802.16e specification has the potential to give laptops broadband Internet access anywhere on the planet, according to Anand Chandrasekher, vice president and general manager of Intel's Mobile Platforms Group. The standard has more potential than GPRS and 3G because it is the same in every country, he said.
