Glowing lights below a 12

While its not something I personally would do, I do like to see cars on the road where they have neon lights lighting up the entire ground below the car as they ride.

How about that concept on the 12. Has anyone seen anything like this before? How hard would it be to do and set up?

I think it would be cool to have blue neon lights lighting up the road below me and the motorcycle, flying down the freeway at night....aaah yes, doing that and wearing my Fuzhat would make me rather noticeable wuhahahaha

Ive seen it around here before but the cops don't like it here.
I thought it would be cool to put them under the gas tank so the motor would glow.

When I talked to a cop about it, he just said as long as it isnt blue or red, they really dont care what you do in regards to lighting. Any red or blue lights will give a cop a reason to pull you over, issue a ticket, and have you remove the lighting right there on the spot.

Umm...With a fairing that covers most of the bike, they'd have to be hanging outside it...Dunno how that will look...

Stunters around here, and there are a lot of them, mount a headlight under the bike that when riding normal shines down but when they are up on one wheel points forward. It's a little ghetto when you first see it, but when one passes you and night with that light 4' in the air it actually looks pretty cool.

Not a fan of the neon look though.

Dave...I know you have to have a picture somewhere of one of these bikes all rigged up with the light setup you described. Otherwise, make us proud and take a pic of the next one ya see please.

I'm not sure I like the lighting up below the bike thing but I like lighting up the engine idea.

To bad the cops don't like blue. I think it would look good on a blue bike

I had lights on my 12 for about 2 weeks, One got hit by a rock, broke and that was the end. Its different and to each his own. I wouldn't do it again, but thats me. Its all a matter of your personal taste. You bought the bike so do what you like to it. That's what makes it your bike, what you do to it.

those lights look hella awesome.

i am sure u could rig a switch to turn them off in the daylight hours. but i bet that red and blue glow will attract the other red 'n blue.

What about a disco ball? Has anyone tried to hook up a disco ball?
What about a fog machine. That would be cool.

A fog machine would be cool...for about an hour lol....

I like watching those motorcycle stunt movies and you see the riders have attached red flares to their bike. Not only does the red flare look cool as they ride, but it trails smoke as well. Nice touch.

Well Said!

If all of us were to follow, we would all be riding the same friggin thing, might as well be a lemming and buy a Harley then.

ie: this pipe is the only one that you should have, this carbon fiber is the only kind to buy, this hugger is the only good one, this undertail is the best, that is pimpy, blah blah blah.

Whatever works for you, works best.
