Anyone used Sabins Performance for tuning??
I have an appointment to have a full map built for the bus this friday. Any of you guys ever used them? Their shop is in Dallas and they seem like they know what they're talking about and are priced well. They have a DJ250 with load control and gas analyizer. The only thing that sounded fishy was that they said they usually don't mess with the timing table on stock compression motors? He says on some of them he actually loses a couple HP from any additional timing advance. Hmmm. Also he said that they shoot for 13.0-13.2 air fuel ratio. I thought they should shoot for 12.8 or so to compensate for real world engine loads and RAM AIR. What you guys think about that? I want max MPH, not just max dyno HP.

My bike is at Sabin right now. I like Jim and think he is a good guy. He has always treated me well and has done a good job with my bike. Anything that wasn't right they fixed no questions asked. My only complaint is that the bike is usually not ready when they say it will be. All in all Jim has a good shop and I've spent at lot of money there.
