I don't ride. Too wet out. One of the guys at work rides his 03 CBR600 every day. I can't see myself leaving my 12 out in the rain all day.

Its to snowy to ride.
Compact snow and ice on most of the roads around here.
Temp got up to 38 today, so the temp wasn't the problem.
I ride many times in 38f temps, the heated grips I got from Claude really make a big difference!

Las Vegas Baby. Ride all winter long but it's too damn hot to ride during the summer. Going for a ride when it's over 110F is not much fun.

I rode to work today. It was low 40's when I went in and mid 30's when I rode home. Fuckin weather.com said it was gonna be 50'ish today, lying bastards! It's gonna be in the teens in the morning and I'm taking my truck.

If it's cold (I mean COLD) outside then I'm gonna be cold riding.....If I'm cold riding, I'm not having a good time.
Cold tires & cold roads are not good company!
Absence makes the mind grow fonder and waiting through the winter makes the Spring that much nicer when I do get to ride. Of course I'd trade it for Florida, Arizona or Hawaii in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!

MUAHAHAHA - I have 2 sets of Gerbing heated under garments (one set for me one set for my chickie).. IT IS NEVER TO COLD TO RIDE... although I do get a little scared about tire adheasion when it is below 10 degrees outside. The '12 actually runs pretty good in the cold air - just make sure to warm her up before whacking the throttle. Also, on REALLY cold days (like now in NJ where I live) it does get a tad cold in the helmet if you don't have a warm cap - gerbings still doesn't produce a heated cap I don't think . Ah well.... see you guys on the ROAD!!!!

75 degrees, looooooooow humidity, blue sky from side to side; perfect Houston winter day! BUT, the mosquitoes are grouping in their little cabins, just waiting, waiting...
Come on down Y2K!!!!

KB, i hope you blister a tire in that heat, damn it.
Ent, dont tempt me like that. Mosquitos in winter, never thought of that. I think i could deal with that.
I'm looking on the internet now, for a place to rent sport bikes in CA, or Arizona, or some place warm.
My wife and I had a talk last night about selling everything here and buying a toyota dealership in arizona or somthing.
Last night was -1 and the night before was -8. WTF?

Y2K,
as much as i'd like to see you move to the Houston area, i wouldn't advise it if you like twisties; there just aren't many There ARE a ton of really friendly folk and it's a real relaxed atmosphere but...

I live in DC and "Used" to ride 365. Not now, but on nice days (Above 40 degrees) I will take Peggys bike our for a ride and will ride it to work. I have electric Gloves and other things, but really do not enjoy a ride much past 30 degrees nowadays!

Salt, cold pavement, and race take-offs don't mix well.
Time for winter tear down maint, and mods on the beast.

nothing like a nice brisk ride :-)
i won't ride here in mountains though if it is under 35, too much of a chance of ice in the shaded areas.
but recent events have put a damper on riding for now....
anyway fun can be had, i wish i had been home weekend before last when it was 75 degrees out ;p
