FAST THOUGHTS FROM JESSICA LEE

Thursday October 18th, 2007
Skate Park Athlete Ryan Sheckler
Imagine being a 17 year old pro skateboarder who’s every moment of everyday is documented on a hit MTV television show, girls all over the country wait for hours just to get a peek of you, and all you want to do is just chill at home with you’re friends. That’s the “Life of Ryan”. Ryan Sheckler that is.
Being 16/17 is hard enough with school work, friends, jobs, and parents’ rules to deal with but I can not imagine adding the pressures of traveling all over the world as a pro skateboarder to that. Ryan is coming into Orlando with the Dew Cup already in the bag. At the last round in Salt Lake City Ryan scored enough points to secure the cup win.
Coming into the finals Ryan seems pretty confident. In the last press conference Ryan was asked if knowing that you’ve already won takes any pressure off; Ryan basically said that it doesn’t and he still has to fight super hard. All the guys here are going to be way more competitve because it’s the last round. Everything is on the line. Ryan seemed a little bit under the weather here today but he is still doing his best to kick butt!

Look for Ryan on his hit t.v show “Life of Ryan” on MTV and this weekend competing at the AST Dew Tour in Orlando,FL.
