Pcv installation help please!

Hi guys, trying to install pcv on 2010 ZX14 but cannot remove throttle body harness. Pressed tab with screwdriver and pulled but seems stuck. Sprayed with CRC electronic cleaner and pryed with screwdriver but don't want to brake it. Your suggestions are appreciated.

Get someone with smaller hands.
Seriously, it took me about 25 minutes to get those connectors off when I put the PCV on my 2010. I didn't pry with a screwdriver, but wriggled it back and forth. Persistence.
Good luck.

Isn't it the tab on top of the plug and you have to push down to release?

Press the plug together first than use the screwdriver to push the tab than it should pull apart. worked for me anyway.Hope it helps.

Pushed it together too and tried to pry out with screwdriver from the top and pulling with my hand from the bottom. Sprayed it with electronic contact cleaner and squirted some sewing machine oil at the gap on top, Don know what else to do.

Thank you Newf14. Will try again tomorrow with smaller screwdriver and go deeper, maybe I'm not releasing the whole tab by just pushing in the front, looks like it's glued it doesn't move.

That connector is a MAJOR, and I mean MAJOR pita to get apart. THE worst electrical connector I have EVER had to fight with in my life. If I remember right, I sprayed WD-40 in the plug (which helped a ton) and used a small pair of needle nosed vice-grips to clamp the the edges of the plug coming out, and like someone else said, just kept working it back and forth till it finall came out. Took awhile...patience is your friend I used a screwdriver to pry the tab and hold the plug in place at the same time. Having a good grip made all the diff. I didn't want to pull on the wires.......it would have taken WAY too much force for my liking.
I never understood why kawi didn't make the wire harness long enough to get that plug out in the open to work on....one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on a bike.

I finally removed it. Had to wiggle and pull really hard and the wires didn't come out of the plug.
