What are those 2 open holes for? And how does the GPR mount sit sturdy with only 1 fastener? Just curious thats all.

Feels plenty solid, I have a couple thousand miles on it with no problems. Actually the mount for the stabilizer is held down by a new head bolt that holds the mount down. Plenty strong.

The 2 open holes are for the set screws that are lightly snugged to the frame w/ locktite.

ahh ok. I tried to get away from the drilling For my scotts damper but with just the tank bolt holding it down it was still very loose so I had no choice but to drill away.

No real difficulty in mounting at all. Goes on in 10-15 minutes. it's not in he way of the key but I don't have it connected to anything else. The set screws only touch the head no drilling,

Nobody has anything bad to say about the GPRs so Im at ease now I guess, one more dumb question whats the torque of the stem nut or did you just tighten it untill it was tight lol?

If you look around you should be able to find a deal.
I picked up a GPR V4 dampner on craigslist for 100 bucks, (it was on a gsxr 1k)
and then all i had to purchase was the correct mounting kit from GPR for my application ($150) and im all set.

I believe they would still be worth the retail asking price if i hadnt found the deal i did tho.

No problems with leaks or mounting, Improves handling big time, makes the bike more stable flicking through the corners, also stops headshake if you come down from a wheelie with the front tire turned.
