Unfortunately Skully has shut their doors before they even opened. The Indiegogo campaign, where so much of their apparent success came from confirms that they are bankrupt and backers are unlikely to get any of their money back. Given the backer levels on this project were mostly well over US$1000, this is a pretty painful situation for a whole lot of people.
Several news outlets report that among other issues, the brothers who founded the company are alleged to have squandered a fair amount of the backers' capital on personal goodies. Sadly this feels like all too common a story these days. Of course these are just allegations at this point. The lawsuit the claims have spawned will hopefully provide some closure on these allegations in time.
