A new development from the Race Shop - "DNA High Performance Air Filter" - For Racing and Street Use.
Vance & Hines Motorsports announces New DNA High Performance Air Filter for the 2008 Suzuki GSXR 1300 HAYABUSA.
This new DNA performance air filter is designed for race & road use and features DNA'S Full Contour Design.
This drop in stock replacement air filter has a 17% larger filter area than the stock filter and has sufficient flow for 225 + HP engines.
The filtering material follows precisely the airbox shape and the complete area is used to achieve a very high flow rate (36% more air flow).
The DNA High performance air filter is a high quality next generation multi layer cotton gauze oil impregnated air filter.
The filter media is made of 4 layers of high quality nafta surgical cotton gauze, sandwiched between two layers of epoxy coated Marine grade aluminum wire mesh and designed
to last a lifetime.
The 4 layers of cotton and the two layers of wire mesh are pleated by state of art electronically controlled pleating machines to assure a very high quality of the final filtration media.
The result of this special design is a filtration media that has very high flow rates, low restriction, superior dust holding capability and lasts a lifetime.
