A Poor Turnout for Vancouver's 27th Annual Christmas Toy Run

Threatening clouds, damp streets and cold temperatures made for a smaller than normal turnout for Vancouver's 27th Annual Christmas Toy Run. The Charity event organized by the British Columbia Coalition of Motorcyclists (BCCOM) and the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau drew nearly 10,000 riders last year, however this year attendance was down by at least an estimated 50%. Despite the lack of attendees, many toys were collected for children and needy families for the upcoming holiday season.

Motorcyclists can still help out by sending a toy or monetary donation to Vancouver's Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau at 1370 Napier, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada V6T 4B4 or contact them at (604) 253-7191.
