Team Makita Suzuki's Ricky Carmichael set the fastest time during practice and qualifying for the Budds Creek AMA National motocross series fourth round in Maryland.The 26-year-old winner of the opening three rounds, set a time of 2:33.42 minutes on the new RM-Z450 four stroke, which was two seconds faster than Yamaha-mounted Chad Reed.
Team Kawasaki's James Stewart posted third best time on 2:35.864.
