Haydens Take 1-2 for Kawasaki at Pikes Peak

Roger Hayden edged out his brother Tommy, a 1 - 2 punch for the Kawasaki riders at the 600cc Supersport race at Pikes Peak, Colorado, this Sunday. The tight track, reputed to be hard on tires with its majority of left hand turns, was no match for the Kawasaki ZX-6RRs, which stole the show.

The completely redesigned 2005 ZX-6RRs performed flawlessly and continue their domination of the 600cc class.

Josh Hayes managed a 5th place finish in the Superbike race, his ZX-10R barely able to hold off the new and powerful Suzuki Gixxer K5's.
