One comment.. the official "ride of thunder" was cancelled... we observed this to be a mistake.. We walked up the main street a few times and noticed elderly people and other residents of Oliver bringing out chairs to the side of the street and waiting for what they thought was a "parade" ... IMHO I think we disappointed them.. in such a small town a parade is a big deal.. more thought needs to be put into that for next year...that's all for now.. check out the stunting thread for more pix...
