Penultimate Pro Motocross Round Takes Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki to Ironman Raceway2022-09-13 09:29
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Jo Shimoda, Cameron McAdoo, Seth Hammaker, and Ryder DiFrancesco are all gearing up for the penultimate round of the Pro Motocross Championship this weekend at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Historically it has been a good track for the riders who have lined up there and they are all ready to make it a solid weekend.
Shimoda comes into Ironman with not only confidence in how he’s riding, but also with his past results on this track. Last year he scored second overall with a holeshot and will look to improve on that result in 2022. The rookie DiFrancesco was able to race the pro track last year as a part of the Moto Combine, taking the overall win among other amateur racers. McAdoo has earned a top-10 at the stop in Crawfordsville, but it will be a learning experience for Hammaker who has yet to line up behind the gate in Indiana.

“It was a good weekend at Budds Creek for Jo. We need to work on his start consistency. A better start in Moto 1 might have seen him take the overall. His 3-1 result at Budds Creek moved him into second place for the championship and he’s still in it for a chance to bring the #1 plate home. Cameron had a rough day, crashing a couple of times, but he toughed it out with a 10-17 score. I'm sure he'll regroup this week. Ironman should also see the return of Seth and Ryder, who took this last week off to get themselves 100% before racing again. We were concerned about some weather but that seems to have cleared up now. No special bike set up planned right now.”
