Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Shimoda Gets Another Shot at Anaheim Podium

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team will return to Anaheim, California, for the third and final time this season, giving Jo Shimoda one last chance to go for a podium inside Angel Stadium. With the season in full swing and Shimoda just capturing his first podium of the year, the team hopes Round 6 will be the momentum swing needed to close out the western regional stint and start on top in the east.

Shimoda had been showing so much speed over the first five rounds and made the most of the three-race format in Glendale to capture his first podium in third. His persistence and perseverance never wavered and now Shimoda gets one more opportunity to head into the Western Regional 250SX five weekend break on a high note.
“We still have some improving to do but it was great to finally see Jo on the podium. Jo can now build on that podium and continue working toward the top step. Again this week, Jo will do his A3 prep with Austin, Cameron and Jett. It's a windy week here in Southern California and the tracks are getting dry and hard.
