Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Ready For San Diego2022-01-21 13:38Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker and Jo Shimoda have two rounds under their belts and are gearing up for a patriotic stop at Petco Park in San Diego. The military appreciation race is always a special one and it allows Hammaker to potentially extend his podium streak and offers Shimoda a chance to earn his first podium appearance of the young season aboard his Kawasaki KX250. Last week Hammaker proved he was going to be a constant contender for the podium with a great start and a steady race. His teammate Shimoda was able to show speed upfront with a main event holeshot but had to use that speed to come through the pack after going down. Both are ready for a good weekend in downtown San Diego. “Last week’s progress showed at Oakland and gave us a glimpse of Jo's real abilities. Seth kept himself in a solid position again. This week we have continued to make progress with Seth, Jo and the bike. We’re looking forward to San Diego with a few updated parts on the bike.” - Iain Southwell, interim Team Manager.
