Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner and Jo Shimoda have one more shot to showcase the speed they’ve been working on all year at the Pro Motocross Championship season finale at Hangtown MX outside Sacramento, California. The venue returns after being off the schedule in 2020, but with a shift to a September date compared to its normal springtime scheduling, the riders will have to end the season pushing through some hot weather.

The duo didn’t seem bothered by the heat last weekend and will hopefully use it to their advantage to close out the season. Shimoda hasn’t ridden the circuit as a professional but is really enjoying himself on the track and it shows. He has one more shot at trying for the win, while teammate Austin Forkner is gunning for his first podium finish of the season. He’s also been putting in good speed at the front and everyone on the team is boosting his confidence to round out the season on a high note.
