The team is coming off its best collective effort last weekend and is prepping in every way to make sure they finish the season strong. Rookie Seth Hammaker sat our last weekend’s round and will make a decision about whether he will be racing later this week. Shimoda overcame his tendency to come through the pack, starting with the front runners in both motos, including a Moto 2 holeshot. With starts like that and the speed he showcased, it could be another great weekend for the rider out of Japan. Teammate Forkner is still eyeing his first podium of the season, but after two straight top-five finishes, he’s more confident than ever he can make it happen. “A podium is what we’re aiming for. We just need to focus more on starts now that he’s finding confidence with his speed.
