Rins raced to his first MotoGP win aboard the GSX-RR after an epic battle with Valentino Rossi, after starting from seventh on the grid, while team-mate and MotoGP rookie Joan Mir was unfortunate to suffer a ride-through penalty for a jump-start as he was moving up from his 14th grid position, but he was one of the first to congratulate Rins after his victory, shown in the video.
