Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Forkner and Davalos Return to Action for Inaugural Nashville Race

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner and Martin Davalos get the honor of racing in the first supercross under the lights of Nissan Stadium in Nashville as the Eastern Regional riders are tagged in for a single race. After getting two weekends off, the duo is rested and ready to tackle an open-air stadium for the first time since Daytona.



Forkner enters the round with a 26 point lead with three races remaining. In total, he’s led 123 out of a possible 135 laps this season (91.1%). He’s enjoyed five wins and isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon in his pursuit of his first supercross title.

“It will be exciting to be in Nashville and go to a new stadium,” said Forkner. “We traveled through Nashville to get to Loretta’s each year for the amateur race, but I’m just glad it’s not going to be that kind of heat. It would be really cool to win the first race in that stadium.”


Davalos put in a solid race during the last outing in Indianapolis and with two weekends of rest is hoping to go after his best finish this season. His highest finish has been three fifth-place finishes and he’s ready to break into the top five.

“I’ve been able to get several top five finishes, but I am hopeful that I can get a podium before the season is over,” said Davalos. “I felt the most confident this year at the last race and think I can bring that into the race in Nashville.”


The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders will be signing autographs on Friday, April 5 from 6 - 7 p.m. at America’s Motorsports in Nashville.

Saturday’s race from Nissan Stadium will be broadcast LIVE on NBC Sports starting on Saturday, April 6 at 8 p.m. ET.
