Fresh from a positive weekend at his home Grand Prix in Japan, PETRONAS Sprinta Racing rider Ayumu Sasaki has his sights set firmly on continuing his top ten momentum from Motegi last week. The eighteen-year-old is confident that he can improve on his 2017 result at the Island, that saw him finish in an impressive 7th place in his rookie year. Also experiencing a productive weekend at Philip Island last year, Adam Norrodin is eager to get back to the track that saw him finish in 8th position in 2017. Determined to improve after a tough weekend in Japan, Norrodin will be looking to capitalise on his previous positive experience around the 4.4km track. #7 ADAM NORRODIN “I feel very motivated to race at Philip Island, especially after a not so good result at Motegi last week. I am really focused on making a good result this weekend, before going to my home GP in Malaysia. Last year we made really good progress and a good result at Philip Island, so this has given me a boost of confidence. I feel confident that it will continue like this in Australia. I like the circuit at Philip Island a lot.
