PETRONAS SPRINTA RACING RIDERS READY TO LAUNCH THEIR ATTACK ON ARAGON2018-09-18 12:07Looking to continue his solid progress from Misano, PETRONAS Sprinta Racing rider Adam Norrodin is eager to get back on track, as he aims to improve on last years 15th place finish at the Spanish Circuit. Teammate Ayumu Sasaki will have to wait until Thursday [20th] to find out if he will take part in this weekends Aragon Grand Prix, following a big crash in Misano that saw the Japanese rider fracture his hand in two places. The 17-year-old is confident that when he returns to the track, he will be back fighting at the front. #7 ADAM NORRODIN “I’m really looking forward to the Aragon GP because I’ve had some good results there before. My feeling on the bike last year was really good, but we want to try something different this weekend and take it to the next step. I’m excited to get on track and see what we can do; I feel confident that we can make a good result this weekend. We made good progress throughout the San Marino Grand Prix and now we need to build on this. We must keep the focus and continue working hard to improve. The goal is to be strong from the start and collect some good points before we begin the overseas rounds in Asia.” #71 AYUMU SASAKI “Since my crash in Misano I have been getting some treatment on my hand; it’s still unknown if I can ride this weekend at Aragon but I really hope that I can! On Thursday I will visit the circuit doctor to find out if they will allow me to ride with my injury. I really enjoy the MotorLand Aragon track; I’ve had some good results there in the past. From the start of Sunday’s race in Misano I was feeling so strong and I know that I could have fought with the leaders for a podium finish. This has really given me a boost; I felt so good on the bike and in myself. I just want to get back out there now.
