ÁNGEL NIETO TEAM ON FORM FOR ITALIAN ROUND2018-05-31 09:48The sixth round of the Moto3 World Championship takes place this weekend at Mugello with the top four riders separated by just eight points. Marco Bezzecchi arrives at his home round as the series leader despite missing out on the points in France after a crash that also involved fellow title Jorge Martín, Fabio di Giannantonio and Aron Canet. The 5.245km that make up the iconic Italian circuit will be the scene of another battle that, should it follow the trend at Mugello, is sure to see a group as big as ten riders or more fighting for the win to the final lap. The Ángel Nieto Team could not arrive at the sixth round in better form after the team’s one-two last time out in the French Grand Prix, where Albert Arenas took the win ahead of his team-mate Andrea Migno in second place. The Italian took his first career Grand Prix victory at this circuit last season and heads into his home round lying fifth in the championship, eighteen points off the leader and determined to improve. Arenas has put the emotion of Le Mans behind him now as he concentrates on continuing to improve and scoring another good result at a circuit where he failed to finish last year after a crash in the race. Andrea Migno: “Mugello is an exciting race for the Italian riders because to have the Italian fans so close is special. Also, the races there are always amazing in all categories. My win last year there was an unforgettable experience, a memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life. It was a truly memorable weekend. This year, after the podium at Le Mans, we are looking forward to giving 100% again and we’re aiming for the top five in our home race. That is our main objective: to give our best and to improve.” Albert Arenas: “After the victory at Le Mans we arrive in Mugello feeling ready and full of positive energy. We can’t think about what happened in France anymore, we have to keep our feet on the ground and start this weekend’s Grand Prix in the same way we have been working recently. I haven’t stopped training, I am ready for the racer and will give it my best shot. I really liked the circuit last year but the race did not end as I hoped.
