✪ CFTA Newsletter - Newman Practice & Afterburner Race Weekend2016-11-05 13:54It's been over 10 years since this place was open for racing and practice, so this is a rare treat on a fast groove track. Entry fees are $25, $15 for PW and 65cc, spectators/pit crew are: $5. The proceeds are going to help defray the costs of rebuilding this facility, and insurance and EMT costs for the day. We will be running the day after a kart race. The new promoter has added about 12-15' of new race surface on the bottom. Note that the fence is not complete and they will not allow us on the top part of the race track during this practice. It still gives us 40' of race track. Just understand that the track is a bit different than when it last ran. The dirt looks great and the guys have learned how to prepare a groove track so we're thinking it will be good. We'll find out on that Sunday. Any corner worker help would be appreciated. Motorcycle, kart and quad testing, tuning, learning, practicing and goofing off. This is a night designed for fun. We promise you'll get so many laps that your tongue be dragging the ground.
