Un altro bel risultato per Stefano Bonetti nella Superstock, 26esimo assoluto e primo degli italiani nella gara vinta da Ian Hutchinson davanti a Dean Harrison e James Hillier.

Partito 41esimo, Stefano Bonetti ha percorso il famoso tracciato del Mountain in 1h15.02, quattro giri per un totale di 240 km, ad una media di 120,668 km/h.

Stefano Bonetti: “Non siamo ancora riusciti a trovare l’assetto ideale della Kawasaki così abbiamo sofferto e non sono riuscito ad abbassare il mio tempo. All’ultimo giro ho registrato un buon 18’13, ma so di poter far meglio. Quando non hai il giusto feeling con la moto è difficile spingere su una pista come questa che non perdona errori. Sono invece ottimista per la gara di domani con la Paton. Partirò terzo e punto a far bene. Sono orgoglioso di guidare una moto italiana nel contesto del Tourist Trophy.”

Domani Stefano Bonetti tornerà in pista per la gara della Leightweight, mentre il gran finale è in programma venerdì con l’attesissima gara della Senior.

Another good result for Stefano Bonetti in the Superstock, 26th overall and first of the Italian in the race won by Ian Hutchinson in front of Dean Harrison and James Hillier.

Started 41th, Stefano Bonetti covered the famous Mountain in 1h15.02, four laps for a total of 240 km, at an average speed of 120,668 km/h.

Stefano Bonetti: “We haven’t found the right setting for our Kawasaki and we are still struggling. I did my last lap in 18’13 but I know I can do better. It’s difficult to push when you don’t have a good feeling with the bike, especially on this track that doesn’t forgive any mistake. I look forward to the race in the Leightweight tomorrow whereI start 3rd with the Paton. It’s great to ride an Italian bike here at the Tourist Trophy”.

Tomorrow Stefano Bonetti will be back on track for the Leightweight, The Grand Finale, the the Senior is scheduled on Friday.
