RACE DIRECTION
NOTIFICATION OF SANCTION
To: Mr. A. Migno, Rider No. 16 of the Moto3 Class.
Dear Sir,
According to Article 3.5.5 of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix
Regulations, we confirm our decision.
Motive
On 19th March 2016 during the Moto3 QP session of the Commercial Bank Grand Prix of
Qatar, you exited the pit lane whilst the pit lane was closed, with the red lights and a red flag
displayed.
This is deemed to be taking an unfair advantage and is also an infringement of Article 1.22.2
of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations.
Convocation
According to Article 3.2.1 FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations,
Race Direction has imposed a penalty without a hearing.
Decision
For the above motive, Race Direction has decided to impose on you a fine of 300 €uros and
to cancel your fastest lap time from your first run, according to Article 3.2.1. of the FIM Road
Racing World Championship Grand Prix Disciplinary and Arbitration Code.
Right of Protest
You have the right to protest this decision according to Article 3.4.1, in which case a Race
Direction hearing will be held. Any protest must be received within 30 minutes from the time
this notification is signed.
