Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Adds BLUE CORE to YZR-M1 Livery at German GP2015-07-11 15:52Movistar Yamaha MotoGP‘s YZR-M1 race machines competing in the MotoGP World Championship will sport a new “BLUE CORE” logo starting from the upcoming German GP at Sachsenring. Movistar Yamaha MotoGP supports Yamaha Motor‘s “BLUE CORE” next-generation engine development philosophy with an amended YZR-M1 livery at the ninth round of the MotoGP series. As an Official Team Sponsor, PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM)‘s brand slogan “Semakin di Depan” (“One Step Ahead”) has already been a prominent feature on the team‘s bikes. Starting from this weekend, this logo will be replaced by a “BLUE CORE” logo on front cowl and the belly of the bikes until the end of the season. The “BLUE CORE” next-generation engine development philosophy aims to create models that take riding enjoyment, high fuel efficiency and good environmental performance to a completely new level. The engines of which development was based on the “BLUE CORE” philosophy are the result of a thorough pursuit to 1) increase combustion efficiency, 2) increase cooling efficiency and 3) reduce friction loss. Moreover, these “BLUE CORE” engines can be adjusted to a high-level balance that fits the demands of different types of bikes, thus making them well-suited for developing a wide range of model variations. Indonesia and the other ASEAN markets had the scoop on the “BLUE CORE” engines, which are already in use on their marketed models, but plans are being made for use on models worldwide.
