Josh Herrin Wins At Road America As Yamaha bLU cRU R6 Riders Sweep The Top Four Spots In MotoAmerica Supersport Race 1

Wheels In Motion/MotoSport.com/Meen Yamaha rider Josh Herrin notched his third MotoAmerica win of the season, in Supersport Race 1 at Road America. Once again, the Yamaha YZF-R6 was the motorcycle of the meet as bLU cRU riders finished in the top four positions, with Yamalube/Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha’s JD Beach in fourth. JD’s teammate Garrett Gerloff had a tipover while leading early in the race, but he was able to re-mount and finish ninth.



On Friday, JD qualified on the pole when the track was dry, but rain at Road America from pretty much then on led to a wet race on Saturday, causing JD to get shuffled back at the start.



With his win, Josh moved into the Supersport Championship lead by five points over JD in second place, with Garrett in third and just 12 points out of the lead.
