FIM Gand Prix Regulation Changes

The Grand Prix Commission, composed of Messrs. Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna, Chairman),
Ignacio Verneda (FIM CEO), Herve Poncharal (IRTA) and Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA) in the
presence of Javier Alonso (Dorna) and Mike Trimby (IRTA, Secretary of the meeting), in a
meeting held on 2 May 2015 in Jerez, made the following decisions:

Sporting Regulations

Effective Immediately
A clarification concerning the deadline for changing a machine in pit lane for a dry race
was approved. The rider must exit pit lane on the second machine before the leading rider
completes the first lap.


Technical Regulations

MotoGP Class: Effective Immediately
A clarification concerning the method of recording engine use was approved. The limit on
engines used only applies to those engines used in practice sessions and races at events.
Engines used for testing outside of actual events are not controlled.

Moto2 Engine Supply
The Commission approved a renewal of the contract with Honda for the supply of Moto2
class engines for the three year period 2016 to 2018.
